Participate in the Iron Giant Project!

The owners of the Labyrinth Bookstore in Toronto Canada are hosting an art show dedicated to The Iron Giant!
This is open to EVERYONE, so anyone with Iron Giant related artwork who is interested in participating, please send these folks an email!

"Yes this is open for anyone to try.
Because we have gotten a number of emails from folks asking if they can join the art show - it seemed appropriate to re-iterate.

ANYONE can do a piece and then send it in (via email first). If it's good, we would be crazy not to accept it. Our goal is to let everyone that loves this movie get a chance to express that. This is not an elitist art show, so draw something and email us.

also a reminder -there are no hard rules on format/style. Do it your way - but make it clearly related to the film in some recognizable way.

It can be a simple sketch, or a finished illustration, a cereal box cover or a Matt painting with the giant staying with you at the cottage. Use your imagination and have fun.

To Become a Member: just add the club to your watch list, and leave a message/note! You do not need to participate in any contests (If I ever actually do any contests...) You only need to love the Iron Giant movie and anything iron-giantesque! If you have some Iron Giant fanart in your gallery, Great!
A Brad Bird poster on your wall is also Ideal.

Your lazy club founder has finally decided it's time to get a really damn good Avatar made for the club.
But since I'm lazy, I don't really want to do it...

So valued members,

Create a 50X50 pixel avatar that sparkles and shines and drawns attention so we can whore our little club all over the forums and hypnotize the masses to draw them into our trap...of WONDER!
Send a NOTE with a link to your entry!

You can create as many avatars as you like,
And in whatever style you like, that mention The Iron Giant Club.
unsuitable avatars will not be included at my discretion

At the end of the contest, currently set for June 1st (subject to change) a group of randomly selected judges will randomly judge selected avatars and select the one that most represents our club and what it stands for.
AKA: The one that's the coolest and most saturate with awesome.
